St. Mary's Church
St. Mary's Church, also known as St. Mary's Basilica, is one of the most important landmarks in Krakow. Its distinctive towers dominate the city's main square and are a symbol of Krakow.
The interior of the church is adorned with magnificent stained glass windows and the famous work of art – the altar by Veit Stoss, which captivates with its precision and details. Every hour, a bugle call is played from one of the towers, ending abruptly as the melody is interrupted – a tribute to the legendary city watchman. St. Mary's Church is also the site of many important religious and cultural events, attracting crowds of tourists from around the world each year.
